Supply Chain Management Specialist (m/f/d)

For our Operations team in Karlsruhe, we are looking forward to your support as Supply Chain Management Specialist

Key tasks / Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and optimizing a feasible and stable ‘global’ demand and supply plan for high complex and innovative technologies.
  • Synchronize with Product Marketing the demand forecast and align the plans with supply availability to ensure achievable sales plan.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities with internal/external manufacturing and drive its delivery performance. You will be responsible for the supply planning activities e.g., material flow, production planning, develop short-term and long-term finished goods supply plans and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute the supply for new product introduction as well as the Excess/EOL stocks in coordination with Sales & Marketing & R&D.
  • Manage the full material management cycle to ensure product availability on relevant storage locations in line with forecast, order book, and/or allocation.
  • Prepare stock reports and provide regular update on inventory levels and flagging in case of short-term stock issues are foreseen in the pipeline.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) or full dual vocational training (Industriekaufmann/-frau; Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann/-frau).
  • More than 5 years of hand-on experience in Supply Chain especially in supply and materials planning and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in SAP is a MUST and full understanding of the MRP process is essential.
  • Having production knowledge/experience in electronics is a plus.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking and interpersonal strengths.
  • High level of communication at all levels and ability to create mutual understanding within the team.
  • Strong functional leadership skills, ability to lead, contribute, and influence others positively in a team-based organization.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
